Platforms
Choose desktop and mobile targets by their support level, toolkit, and feature limits. Start with supported targets and inspect the full compatibility reference.
Supported desktop and mobile targets
Share the app’s interface and logic, then test the native behavior on each target you choose. Tiers record the project’s declared maintenance priority; they are not a new runtime test result.
| Platform | UI toolkit | Support tier |
|---|---|---|
| macOS | AppKit | Tier 1 · Supported |
| iOS & iPadOS | UIKit | Tier 1 · Supported |
| Android | Material Components | Tier 1 · Supported |
| Linux | GTK 4 | Tier 2 · Demi-supported |
| Linux | Qt 6 Widgets | Tier 2 · Demi-supported |
| Windows | WinUI 3 | Tier 2 · Demi-supported |
Check the features your app needs
Toolkit widgets, composed controls, custom drawing, and device services have different support boundaries. Read the per-target limitations and test your main workflow, including keyboard and assistive-technology use.
Experimental and additional targets
HarmonyOS / ArkUI and the browser / DOM target are Tier 3 experimental. GTK and Qt combinations on other host systems are Tier 4 development targets. System XAML is Tier 5 deprecated.
