Struct ImageProperties

Source
pub struct ImageProperties {
    pub orientation: Option<u16>,
    pub dpi: Option<f64>,
    pub created: Option<String>,
    pub extra: Vec<(String, String)>,
}
Expand description

The metadata an image file carries beyond its pixels (Toolkit::image_properties).

Sparse by construction: every field is what the platform’s own reader answered, and a backend with no metadata reader at all answers None to the whole call rather than an empty struct. Probe Cap::ImageProperties before offering an affordance that depends on it.

Fields§

§orientation: Option<u16>

The EXIF orientation tag (1–8), where one was recorded.

§dpi: Option<f64>

Pixels per inch, where the file records a resolution.

§created: Option<String>

The capture timestamp as the file spells it (no parsing: the formats disagree).

§extra: Vec<(String, String)>

Everything else the platform reader named, in its own vocabulary. Keys are the platform’s, so read them defensively.
