A kinds::INSPECTOR split (docs/inspector.md): content beside a trailing inspector pane. The pane’s visibility is Day-owned state (the piece’s bound signal), so the props carry the value to draw and InspectorPatch::Visible keeps it current; a native affordance hiding the pane (a dock close button, a dragged-shut divider) reports back with crate::Event::InspectorChanged.

Fields

visible: bool

Whether the pane is showing now.

width: f64

The pane’s preferred width in points. A backend with a user-draggable divider treats it as the initial width; one without draws it at exactly this.

edge: PaneEdge

Which side of the content the pane sits on. Trailing is the classic inspector; Leading is a utility pane like a layer panel (docs/tree.md).
