pub enum WindowChrome {
Standard,
Overlay,
Frameless,
}Expand description
The frame a window wears (docs/window-chrome.md), set once when it opens.
Variants§
Standard
The platform’s title bar and frame.
Overlay
The content runs to the window’s top edge, under the title bar, and the platform’s own
window controls (close, minimize, zoom) stay where they are. For a custom title bar: the
backend reports the bar’s height as the window’s safe-area top inset (day::safe_area()),
so the app pads its content by it and paints its background under it. Mark the draggable
part with .window_drag_region(). Cap::OverlayTitleBar; where unsupported the window
keeps its standard bar.
Frameless
No title bar and no frame: a splash screen, a heads-up panel, a borderless utility. The
window still resizes from its edges when resizable; mark the part that moves it with
.window_drag_region(). Cap::FramelessWindow; where unsupported the window keeps its
standard frame.
