pub enum GestureKind {
Tap,
LongPress,
Drag,
Hover,
Pinch,
Pan,
}Expand description
A gesture a node wants delivered. Backends attach the matching native recognizer when day-core
calls Toolkit::enable_gesture; the default is no gesture (recognizers cost, so opt-in).
Variants§
Tap
LongPress
Drag
Hover
The pointer moving over the node without pressing (docs/canvas.md “Interaction”), and leaving it. Delivered only where a pointer exists: every desktop, an iPad with a trackpad or pencil, an Android device with a mouse or stylus. A touch-only device reports none, which is the right answer, not a gap, so anything reachable by hover must also be reachable by a tap.
Pinch
Pinch/magnify (docs/shapes.md): trackpad magnification, two-finger touch pinch.
Pan
Viewport pan (docs/shapes.md): trackpad two-finger scroll, two-finger touch pan.
Distinct from GestureKind::Drag, the primary pointer’s press-drag.
