§

TextInput

§

Heading(u8)

§

Image

§

Meter

§

Group

§

Tree

A hierarchical tree container (docs/tree.md): role="tree", AXOutline.

§

TreeItem

One row of a tree: role="treeitem", with level/expanded state where the platform carries them (docs/tree.md).

§

Tab

One tab in a strip of peers (role="tab", AXTabButton): the composed document strip’s title buttons. Pair it with A11yProps::selected for the current one.

§

TabList

The strip holding tabs (role="tablist", AXTabGroup).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Role

Source

pub fn for_kind(kind: &'static str) -> Role

The a11y role a built-in piece kind reports natively, the audit’s expectation when the user hasn’t set an explicit .role(). Native controls already expose these, so Day records them for a11y_audit (§14.2) rather than overriding the widget; only canvas/custom pieces need Day to apply a role. Returns None for kinds with no inherent control role.
